Valuation of a French Empire ormolu clock in our next auction

Le Floc'h auction house in Paris and Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French early 19th century Empire ormolu clock, Sunday 4th of October in Saint-Cloud.

 

Pendule à l’étude de l’astronomie en bronze ciselé et doré mat et bruni (usures), figurant Uranie, un compas à la main, étudiant un globe émaillé bleu et étoilé, le cadran circulaire émaillé blanc à chiffres romains en noir (égrenures), la base ornée d'un bas-relief au putto et télescope. Contre-socle quadrangulaire en marbre vert de mer (égrenures) à quatre petits pieds.

D’après un dessin de Jean-André Reiche (1752-1817).

Epoque Empire.
