Hotel des ventes de Clermont-Ferrand auction house in Clermont-Ferrand, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French ormolu Empire period clock, Thursday 9th of July in Clermont-Ferrand.

 

Pendule au char d'Athéna à mouvement squelette en bronze ciselé et doré mate et bruni, figurant Athéna sur son char accostée de son bouclier à masque de gorgone, tiré par deux chevaux. La base quadrangulaire décorée d'un bas relief, à l’histoire d’Athéna, encadré de trophées, souligné d'une frise de palmettes, et repose sur quatre pieds en boule aplatie. Le cadran annulaire émaillé blanc à chiffres romains en noir signé Gaston Jolly Fils A Paris s'inscrit dans la roue du char.
