Hotel des ventes de Clermont-Ferrand auction house in Clermont-Ferrand, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French 18th century Aubusson tapestry, Tuesday 5th of May in Clermont-Ferrand.

 

Aubusson XVIIIe siècle

Verdure à la pagode et au carquois Tapisserie Usures et accidents, doublée, manque la bordure

425 x 237 cm

 

Note :

Fréquemment attribué à Jean-Baptiste Pillement, le carton de notre tapisserie reprend le temple chinois de Sinkicien publié en 1721 par JB von Erlach dans " Entwurff einer historichen Architectur ", dont la paternité revient à Jean-Joseph Dumons, "Peintre au service du Roi", nommé à la Manufacture en 1731.
