Valuation of a French Louis XVI style pair of candelabras in our next auction

Guillaume Le Floc'h auction house in Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a pair of French Louis XVI style ormolu and patinated bronze candelabras, Sunday 12th of October in Saint-Cloud.

 

Paire de candélabres en bronze ciselé, doré et patiné, figurant un vase portant un bouquet de quatre lumières à décor d’épi de blé, rinceaux, acanthes, pampres de vigne, guirlandes de rose feuillagées, feuilles d’eau, supporté par trois pieds sommés de masques de satyre et pieds sabot (usures et accidents). La base circulaire est ornée d’une frise de feuilles d’eau, à contre-socle de marbre blanc, reposant sur trois pieds.

Modèle inspiré des œuvres de Pierre Gouthière.

Style Louis XVI, XIXe siècle.

Haut. : 91 cm

Provenance : Château de Verteuil, ancienne propriété de la famille La Rochefoucauld.
