Encheres Occitanes auction house in Montauban, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French late 19th century japonizing cabinet signed Daï Nippon Ameublement, 3 et 5 boulevard des Capucines, Paris, Friday 17th of October in Montauban.

 

Meuble de présentation en bois mouluré et gravé, à décor marqueté de nacre et ivoire de branchages feuillagés, volatiles et d'un samouraï (usures). Il ouvre par un vantail, deux tiroirs et une vitrine en partie haute et présente plusieurs étagères. Il est orné de deux dragons de bronze ciselé et doré et repose sur des pieds cambrés. Cachet Daï Nippon Ameublement, 3 et 5 boulevard des Capucines, Paris.

Circa 1890-1900.

Dimensions : Haut. : 201 cm - Larg. : 90 cm - Prof. : 42 cm.

 

Daï Nippon Ameublement ouvre ses portes aux 3 et 5 boulevard des Capucines à Paris en 1889. A l'instar de Viardot, Perret et Vibert et de l'Escalier de Cristal, elle se spécialise dans la fabrication et l'importation de meubles et objets marqués par le japonisme.
