Valuation of a French Empire mahogany cabinet in our next auction

Column Furniture and works of art , Appraisal and valuation

Le Floc'h auction house in Paris and Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French early 19th century mahogany cabinet in the style of Molitor, Sunday 31st of May in Saint-Cloud.

 

Armoire en acajou et placage d’acajou mouluré (fentes), ouvrant par deux vantaux encadrés de montants en pilastres et reposant sur des pieds antérieurs en jarret en bois patiné. Chapiteaux et baguettes en bronze ciselé et doré.

Attribuée à l’entourage de Bernard MOLITOR.

Époque Empire.

Haut. : 192 cm - Larg. : 109 cm - Prof. : 42 cm

 

Note :

Les bronzes formant chapiteaux des deux pilastres de notre meuble peuvent être rapprochés de ceux employés par Bernard Molitor, en particulier sur le mobilier exécuté pour le duc de Choiseul-Praslin.
