Philocale auction house, in Orleans, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a pair of French late 19th century sculpture after Edouard Houssin, Tuesday 10th of March in the Loiret.

Légers accidents, oxydation sous la peinture et piques des hallebardes déformées

Commentaire :

Notre œuvre s'inscrit dans la série des paires de lanciers et de hallebardiers réalisées par Houssin. Élève de François Jouffroy (1806-1882) et d'Aimé Millet (1819-1891), il expose à Paris au Salon dès 1873 et ses œuvres sont primées en 1887, 1889 et 1990
