Valuation of a ivory carved Christ in our next auction

Column Sculptures , Appraisal and valuation

Alpes Encheres auction house, in Chambery, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a important ivory carved crucifix from the late 17th century, Wednesday 25th of March in Chambery.

 

Crucifix au Christ vivant en ivoire sculpté, les yeux ouverts, le périzonium noué à gauche, les pieds joints. Il est surmonté d'une plaque INRI sur une croix en bois noirci.

Seconde moitié du XVIIème siècle.

On joint son coffret forcé de maroquin doré aux petits fers.

Poids brut : 1268 g,

sans le coffret. H. totale : H. : 76 cm
