Enchères Occitanes auction house in Montauban, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French Regence period marquetry Mazarin desk, Friday 14th of February in Montauban.

 

Bureau mazarin en placage de palissandre marqueté d'ébène et filets de laiton (accidents, manques et restaurations) toutes faces, à décor géométrique et cordiforme, ouvrant par quatre tiroirs, un guichet central et un abattant simulant trois tiroirs. Le plateau brisé découvre trois tiroirs dont un formant encrier. Il repose sur quatre pieds cambrés. Sabots et entrées de serrure en bronze ciselé.

Époque Régence.
