Valuation of a bronze fountain after Verrocchio in our next auction in Saint-Cloud

Guillaume Le Floc'h auction house, in Paris, Drouot and Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will sell at auction a 19th century bronze putto with a dolphin forming fountain after a model by Verrocchio. Sunday 11th October in Saint-Cloud.

Note :

La sculpture originale fut réalisée par Andrea Verrocchio en 1465 pour la villa Médicis de Careggi. Vasari rapporte que le Grand Duc Cosme I l’a fit transporter à Florence et montée sur une nouvelle fontaine au palais Vecchio.
