Guillaume Le Floc'h auction house, in Drouot and Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal sold atl auction a set of six French Directoire style mahogany armchairs after a model by Georges Jacob in the musée Marmottan in Paris, Sunday 1st March in Saint-Cloud.

 

Suite de six fauteuils à dossier bandeau en acajou et placage d’acajou mouluré et sculpté, à décor de palmettes à jour, les consoles d’accotoirs en mufle de lion stylisé, reposant sur des pieds antérieurs fuselés, bagués et godronnés et des pieds postérieurs en sabre (légères différences au modèle, petits accidents).

Style Directoire.

Haut. : 95 cm - Larg. : 59 cm - Prof. : 47 cm

On y joint un fauteuil similaire.

D’après un modèle de Georges Jacob, dont un exemplaire est conservé au Musée Marmottan, Paris.
