GuillaumeLe Floc'h auction house, in Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a Lucien Bonvallet copper vase, Sunday 15th May in Saint-Cloud.
Lucien BONVALLET (1861-1919).
Vase en cuivre repoussé et patiné à motif de feuilles de chardon.
Signé Lucien Bonvallet Paris et monogramme de l'artiste sous la base.
Haut. : 22 cm - Larg. : 18 cm
Estimate: 2,000/3,000 euros
Lucien Bonvallet (1851-1919) est un dinandier et dessinateur ayant travaillé pour de grandes maisons telles que la Maison Cardeilhac dont il devient le directeur artistique. 
En parallèle de ses activités de dessinateur, il excelle dans l’art de la dinanderie. Ses vases aux décors inspirés de la nature sont représentatifs du courant Art Nouveau de l’époque. 
Notre vase en cuivre à décor de feuilles sur la panse illustre son attachement à la nature, d’autres vases proches du nôtre sont conservés au musée d’Orsay à Paris.
