Valuation of a French marquetry display cabinet in our next auction


Column Appraisal and valuation, Furniture and works of art

Le Floc'h auction house, in Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a Louis XVI style parquetry and ormolu French display cabinet, Sunday 8th October in Saint-Cloud.

 

Vitrine à pans coupés à décor marqueté de losanges dans des encadrements de filets de bois clair et placage de bois de violette et de bois de rose (restaurations). Elle ouvre par un large vantail portant un médaillon dans le style de Wedgwood (accidents) vitré aux deux tiers. Elle est surmontée d’une doucine coiffée d’un marbre brèche d’Alep (fracturé). Riche garniture de bronzes ciselés et dorés.

Style Louis XVI.

Haut. : 169 cm - Larg. : 93 cm - Prof. : 36,5 cm

Note : Notre vitrine se rattache à un ensemble de vitrines similaires dans leur marqueterie, leur plaque dans le style de Wedgwood et leur décor de bronzes à des productions de François Linke. On peut également rapprocher notre meuble des productions de la maison Sormani.
