Philocale auction house in Orleans, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction an early 18th century French rosewood parquetry commode stamped Marchand, Saturday 18th of January in Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle.

Commode à façade mouvementée en placage de palissandre ouvrant par quatre tiroirs sur trois rangs, montants antérieurs arrondis à cannelures foncées de cuivre. Mains tombantes, sabots, tablier, et entrées de serrures en bronze ciselé et doré (en partie rapportés, manque).

Estampillée de Nicolas Jean MARCHAND (reçu maître ébéniste à Paris vers 1735).

Époque Louis XV.
