Le Floc'h auction house in Paris and Saint-Cloud, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a pair of French early 19th century mahogany stools stamped Jacob Freres, Sunday 31st of May in Saint-Cloud.

 

Paire de tabourets curule en acajou et placage d’acajou mouluré, le piètement réuni par une barrette d’entretoise tournée en balustre, pieds en griffes de lion (accidents et restaurations). Estampillés JACOB FRÈRES rue Meslée, estampille utilisée entre 1796 et 1803 par l’association des deux fils de Georges Jacob.

Époque Consulat.

Note :

Notre paire de tabourets curules peut être rapprochée du tabouret attribué à Jacob Frères, provenant du mobilier de Madame de Récamier et aujourd'hui conservé au musée du Louvre, inv OA 11 391.
