Valuation of a Louis XVI style mahogany display cabinet by Francois Linke in our next auction in Montauban


Column Appraisal and valuation, Furniture and works of art

Encheres Occitanes auction house, in Montauban, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will sell at auction a French Louis XVI style mahogany Francois Linke display cabinet. Saturday 27 February in Montauban.

 

Vitrine en acajou et placage d'acajou mouluré, ouvrant par un vantail foncé de glace aux deux tiers, montants antérieurs annelés et rudentés à pieds en toupie (légers chocs). Riche garniture de bronzes ciselés et dorés, tels que fleurons, asperges, baguettes d'encadrement, tablier à branches de laurier et chutes à décor de ruban noué tenant brandon et carquois, tambourin, cors et flûte. Plateau de marbre blanc.

Attribuée à François LINKE (1855 - 1946).

Style Louis XVI.

Haut. : 150,5 cm - Larg. : 55 cm - Prof. : 32 cm.

Note : On retrouve des chutes identiques aux allégories de l'amour et de la musique sur plusieurs meubles signés de LINKE.
