Sophie Himbaut auction house in Aix-en-Provence, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French marquetry toilet table, Friday 27th of March in Aix-en-Provence.

Coiffeuse de forme mouvementée à décor marqueté d’allégories de la musique dans des encadrements de double grecques et amarante, et de branchages feuillagés et fleuris. Elle ouvre par deux tiroirs et une tirette en ceinture, le plateau par deux volets et un abattant découvrant un miroir. Elle repose sur des pieds cambrés. Entrées de serrure et sabots en bronze ciselé et doré.

Estampillée de Nicolas Petit, reçu maître le 21 janvier 1761 et poinçon de jurande.
