Sequana auctioneer in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French Louis XVI period mahogany roll-desk, auction on the 19th February in Rouen.

 

Secrétaire à cylindre en acajou et placage d’acajou mouluré toutes faces, ouvrant par quatre tiroirs et deux tirettes latérales en ceinture, le cylindre découvre trois tiroirs et deux casiers, et trois tiroirs dans le gradin à plateau foncé de marbre bleu turquin ceinturé d’une galerie de laiton repercé, pieds fuselés et cannelés bagués de laiton. Entrées de serrure et prises feuillagées en bronze ciselé et doré.
