Valuation of a French Boulle wall clock in our next auction in Aix en Provence

Sophie Himbaut auction house, in Aix-en-Provence, in collaboration with our experts specialized in free valuation and free appraisal will auction a French 18th century Boulle parquetry and ormolu  wall clock signed Saint Martin, Friday 25th March in Aix-en-Provence.

 

Cartel d’applique et sa console de forme violonée en placage d’écaille brune marqueté de rinceaux de laiton, le cadran circulaire à douze plaques d’émail blanc à chiffres romains en bleu, signé sur la plaque émaillée centrale ainsi que sur la platine arrière du mouvement St Martin A Paris. Riche importante ornementation de bronzes ciselés et dorés, tels que Léda et le cygne sur une demi-sphère ajourée au sommet, chutes, baguettes d’encadrements, sabots et tablier animé.
